Through the Darkness

I got this in a mystery pack around the 1 year anniversary of finding out my Mom was terminal. She was a 27 year survivor, but cancer came back. I've been living in another state and hadn't been able to get home frequently, but got home to be with my mom at the end. The time that followed my Mom's death was a daily challenge to not drink and at the time I received the mystery pack I was running low on reasons to not. I felt like it was a sign from my Mom, I made it through and I am unshakable. As the anniversary of my Mom's passing approaches I still morn, but am inspired , I made it through the darkness and am unshakable.
