TW: Abuse There are many ZOX I wear to help cope with daily struggles, but my most valuable — the one with the deepest impact is — MY STORY ISN’T FINISHED. It is my constant reminder that despite being molested for years as a child (by a neighbor), of being laughed at and bullied for being chubby, of being sexually harassed in the work place, of being emotionally bullied out of my job, and now physically disabled, MY STORY IS NOT OVER! Years of feeling ugly & unloved, of being molested, bullied, hated, & unable to trust others haunt me. With God’s grace, mercy and understanding, I have learned to love ME. I have a wonderful husband who loves me. And I am loved by GOD. If not for the love of my life—my dear, sweet husband who has stood beside me through many struggles—I would have given up long ago. MY STORY — OUR STORY — ISN’T FINISHED — there are many more chapters yet to write and so much yet to do, roads to travel and life to live, places to go and people to meet. I may be in my 60’s but in many ways, my life is just beginning!
