Meet Jennifer Deuel Hi Jennifer! Where are you from? I was born in Killeen Texas as my Dad was in the military so after that I lived in Germany for a couple years but finally settled back in my dad's hometown and have lived in Saratoga NY for most of my life. How did you find ZOX? In the beginning of 2020, at a really low point in my health, I spent a lot of time online because I couldn't physically do a lot and of course we couldn't go anywhere anyway because we were in lock down. I kept seeing these ads and finally went to the website. I bought three straps, one for me and one for each of my siblings. Soon I discovered one was not enough and fell in love with all the uplifting messages! How long have you been a ZOX VIP? I found Zox VIP about a month after I bought my first Zox and have been a member ever since so just over two years now and I've loved every second of it! How many ZOX do you have in your collection? I currently have over 450 straps that's not including about 40 strings, 10, lanyards, and about 10 imperials. What do you love about ZOX and being a VIP? I have met a few amazing friends that I've met in VIP that are now treasured friends that I speak to every day. The thing I love the most about VIP is the friendships I have made. I love the gift-ability of Zox. I recently brought Zox to a fan convention I went to to give away and it was great to give these uplifting messages to new people. I gift them all the time and getting the right message to the right person is my favorite part of Zox. What's your favorite ZOX, and why? My favorite Zox is You are not alone. A couple of celebrities that I follow closely started a hot line to help those that were struggling mentally and that was the name of the charity they had set up and when I saw that Zox it reminded me of that amazing charity. It also is such an important message for someone like me that struggles with physical health issues. There are days I feel isolated and hopeless because of my health but this strap helps remind me that I have so many people that love and support me and I never fight alone. If you could design your own ZOX, what would be the name and art of it? I've been struggling lately and my friend posted a post in VIP looking for uplifting messages and someone told me to look at my struggles as a video game and instead of fighting losing battles look it as every struggle is a level you have to beat and never stop leveling up. So I'd design one called Level Up with a digital video game looking design. Which ZOX are you planning on acquiring next? I'm looking forward to the latest Pride release. As a proud supporter I always grab one and this year's are beautiful but honestly my next one is usually every Thursday! I am so beyond grateful for the Zox community for always being there when I need support or when I am celebrating a victory. It is so hard to find kindred spirits and I've found so many thanks to Zox!
